Created in May of 2025, RideSights strives to assist rideshare professionals in the city of Chicago by providing data-driven insights that help maximize earnings, minimize mileage, and identify the hottest pickup spots. Currently, our two main tools, Prime Pickup and Shift Scope, utilize publicly available data provided by the City of Chicago. The data is sourced from millions of anonymized rideshare trips completed by companies like Uber and Lyft.
